VietNamNet Bridge – The first-ever reality show to recruit members for a girl band will be broadcast on the national Vietnam Television (VTV), channel 6 (VTV6) as of June 12.

Called “House of Dreams”, the show aims to recruit and train five young music talents for a girl band.

 

The qualifier round will take place in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on April 8, in the central city of Da Nang on April 14, in Hanoi on April 16-17 and in HCM City on May 6-7.

 

The top 15 girls will be chosen in this round. They will live together and practice singing in a big house in HCM City for 12 weeks (with 11 episodes to be broadcast on VTV6). The jury and the audience will pick up the five finalists to make a girl band.

The band with five girls will perform on the final night on August 28 in HCM City.

 

The show jury will be diva Hong Nhung, a popular TV show host and music producer Anh Tuan and choreographer Y Thanh. Vietnamese American film director Charlie Nguyen and director Le Thanh Son are script writers.

 

Contestants can register for the qualifier round at website hod.com.vn from March 29 through May 5 by posting their portraits and their video clips. The top 100 contestants will be invited to test their voice at the qualifier round in four cities.

 

The five-member girl band will sign a five-year contract with Early Risers Media, which will help them produce the first album worth $30,000.

 

The first season of reality show House of Dreams is co-produced by Galaxy Studio and Early Risers Media.

 

The show will be aired on VTV6 at 9 pm every Sunday, from June 12.
