VietNamNet Bridge – Russia’s Clever Media Publishing House has purchased the copyright of three Vietnamese children’s Maths books translated into English and released by Dan Tri Publishing House and Long Minh Book Company.

The books are part of the Maths books series Em Thich Gioi Toan (I Want to be Good at Maths). Each book includes 101 interesting mathematics problems compiled by teacher Pham Dinh Thuc and illustrated by artist Bui Tuan Linh.

According to Do Hoang Son, director of the Minh Long Book Company, the copyright for the flip-flop format of the books was purchased from Play Bac Publishing House (France). The content of the three books was translated into English with the aim of selling their copyrights internationally.

Clever Media Publishing House paid EUR3,300 (US$3,664) initially for the books’ copyright.
