Five Vietnamese students will take part in Yown Puraya youth festival which is set to take place in Sri Lanka from March 27 to April 1.

They are Vo Quang Dung, Bui Nguyen Bao, Do Pham Nguyet Thanh, Dao Thi Thuy Linh and Do Manh Tien, who have outstanding achievements in youth and youth union activities and are fluent in English.

The delegation is scheduled to present gifts featuring Vietnamese identities to international friends, wear traditional long dress (Ao Dai) in art performances and compare notes on youth activities in Vietnam.

Vo Quang Dung says he is very proud of being a Vietnamese youth representative at the festival. He will bring to the festival image of Vietnamese young generation who are self-confident and creative, devote their lives to the nation and pioneer in grasping new trends in the industrial revolution 4.0.

The students will leave Vietnam for the festival on March 26.

The festival will attract nearly 6,000 youths from Sri Lanka and more than 1,000 international youth delegations from many other countries, including Australia, the US, Bangladesh, India, Japan and Israel.
