VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnamese movie “Floating Lives” will be screened in Belgium in the upcoming “Panorama of Vietnamese movies” program on October 4-8.

Vietnam’s outstanding feature films and documentaries, which won domestic and international awards, will be screened under this program.

“Floating Lives” by Phan Quang Binh, which represents Vietnam at the Namur International Film Festival for French language films, will be screened on October 5 in Namur. Actress Do Hai Yen, who played the prostitute in the movies, will attend the show.

On October 6, the night for Vietnamese documentaries will be held at the Belgium National Performing Art Institute. Some Vietnamese film directors will participate in the event.

A seminar introducing Vietnam’s cinematography at the La Venerie-Espace Delvaux Centre in Brussels and an exhibition on Vietnam’s film posters will also be held.

The program is part of the cultural cooperation program between Vietnam and Wallonie-Brussels.
