VietNamNet Bridge – A National Flower Exhibition will be held during Da Lat Cultural Week from December 27-31, with nearly 130 domestic and international enterprises from the flower growing industry participating in the display at Da Lat City Flower Park.

A statue of Uncle Ho made of flowers measuring 4m high and 5.2m wide will be one of the highlights.

In addition, Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelago, the sovereignty landmark and the red flag with a gold star will also be made of stone and flowers at the festival, contributing to highlighting Vietnam's sovereignty over the Islands and Sea.

Da Lat Cultural Week 2013 includes Vietnam-ASEAN UNESCO Heritage Festival, the 120th anniversary of Da Lat City, the fifth Da Lat Flower Festival and Central Highlands-Da Lat National Tourism Year 2014.

The cultural week aims to boost tourism, the local flower growing industry, and honor the popular resort town.

The event will present to national and international visitors a vast variety of flowers along with many cultural activities, such as flower exhibitions, music performances, fashion shows, a seminar on flowers, a night wine festival and a fireworks display.
