Many football sponsors interested in Super Liga

Vice chief of the Vietnam Football Fan Association, Tran Song Hai.
Hai added that the Vietnam Football Fan Association wanted to hang banners “Applauding Mr. Kien” at the Go Dau Stadium in the southern province of Binh Duong at the U21 Football Championship 2011. However, the organizing board did not agree.
“Our association will not give up. We will launch a campaign to collect one million signatures supporting clean football,” Hai revealed.
He wished the VFF and the V-league organizing board to consider Kien’s opinion to reform themselves. “If they are incapable to organize clean football events, they should step down. Capable people will replace them,” Hai said.
He said that the Vietnam Football Fan Association’s point of view is always cheering clean football. The most important thing in football is the spirit and aspiration.
“If there is a new league, which is cleaner than the V-League, I and fan groups will support it,” he confirmed.
Chair of the fan group of Saigon Xuan Thanh FC, Tran Huu Nghia, 52, said: “V-League has been operating for ten years. Dirty football has been criticized for a long time by many people, but their weak voices have been stamped out quickly. I have been a football fan at the age of 8. I always hope that Vietnam’s football will have a bright day. I’m very glad that Mr. Kien delivered that enthusiastic speech.”
Nghia said the Super Liga is feasible. “If seven clubs do not participate in the V-League, what will the VFF do? Will it be able to exist? Can the law prohibit them from leaving the V-Leage to play in their own league, without selling tickets? For us football fans, we always want to watch real football, so we completely support a clean Super Liga,” he said.
