Ly’s statement has been warmly welcomed by Hai Phong fans since Lach Tray stadium was a “black spot” at V-League 2011. This stadium had to pay fines many times for burning flares.
At Hanoi’s Hang Day Stadium, fans also held high banners to protest the 20-year broadcasting right deal between the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and AVG Group.

Duc said that VFF tried to protect a wrong contract, which harms Vietnam’s football and he did understand why “VFF intentionally goes against the development trend of the market economy and Vietnam’s football.”
Kien stated to not be “a slave for any organization and individual who benefits illegitimately on our effort and labor.” He also said that VFF’s officials did not know “how to do it right.”
At the same time, VFF’s Vice Chair Le Hung Dung said that bosses of FCs behaved wrongly. “We will implement specific plans because we cannot let the national championship affected by things that are not football and sabotage football,” Dung said.
