VietNamNet Bridge - While attending the Men's Futures tournament in Binh Duong province, British tennis player Andrew Fitzpatrick lost $1,000 and was peeped by a gay while he was taking a bath.

The Men's Futures Tournament, which ended in Binh Duong on September 31, had a scandal when British player Andrew Fitzpatrick complained about unfortunate circumstances that he encountered in Vietnam.
This player said he had been stolen of $1,000 in Binh Duong and then he was shocked to be peeped by a gay in the bathroom at a swimming pool in the new city of Binh Duong. The incident occurred on September 24.
On his Twitter page, Fitzpatrick wrote: "Win the men’s double match and be shocked in the bathroom. Do not know what will happen to me."
Shortly after discovering the incident, Andrew Fitzpatrick was enraged for the act which he described as "appalling," and punched the gay.
Explaining the incident, Chief Executive of the Men 'Futures Becamex tournament, Mr. Le Viet Cuong said Andrew Fitzpatrick did not stay in the safe hotel arranged by the organizers so the organizers could not control if he lost money. Fitzpatrick did not remember where and when he lost the money.
About the incident that a gay sneaked into the bathroom, the organizing committee reported to the local police and handed over the gay to the police for investigtion. Cuong said the incident was not as serious as the British player described.
Andrew Fitzpatrick has returned home. This is the 3rd time he came to Vietnam this year for the Men's Futures. The organizers said to give all information to the press after the investigation finishes.
At the Men's Futures, Andrew Fitzpatrick stopped in the quarter-finals. The champion is Chinese player Gong Mao Xin, who defeated the No. 1 seed Li Zhe (China) 2-0 in the semi-finals and passed the No. 2 seed Huang Liang Chi (Taiwan) 2-0 (6/2, 7/6) to become the champion.
The men’s double who were the runners-up at the previous Men's Futures - Huang Liang Chi (Taiwan) / Bowen Ouyang (China) ranked first this year after beating Arata/Shuichi (Japan) 2-1 (6/3, 2 / 6, 10/7) in the final.
