According to Trang, she has received an invitation from the club, although she has yet to make a decision.

Trang, 35, is currently play for Ho Chi Minh City FC. Although she is at the end of her career, she has still impressed the foreign football club with her mature and effective playing style. Along with this, the Portuguese club also want Trang to play alongside talented Vietnamese striker Huynh Nhu to help the striker improve.

Nhu signed a one-year contract with the Portuguese team to become the first Vietnamese female player to appear in European football.

Established back in 1953, Lank FC Vilaverdense, formerly known as Vilaverdense F.C., is a Portuguese football club based in Vila Verde in the district of Braga. The club is currently playing in the Liga Portugal 2, the second tier of women’s Portuguese football.

This comes after Trang’s teammate Thanh Nha also attracted the interest of football clubs in France, Germany, and Thailand.

Most notably, a foreign club asked a middleman to contact Hanoi Watabe FC, where Nha is currently playing, in order to enquire about buying the contract of the 22-year-old player, whilst offering an attractive salary of up to US$5,000 per month for the female Vietnamese footballer.
