K.S.H said he first learned about Vietlott's lottery products around five years ago through newspaper articles and information on the internet. After arriving in Vietnam, he was pleased to find lottery games with playing rules and prize structures similar to those he had enjoyed in South Korea. Since then, buying Vietlott tickets has become one of his regular leisure activities.

"I regularly buy Vietlott lottery products, but my favorite is Power 6/55," he said. "I usually visit a sales outlet about twice a week when I have free time and buy around 20 to 30 tickets. When the jackpot grows larger, I buy more - around 50 tickets each time."

Speaking about the moment he discovered he had won, K.S.H said he checked the results on the Vietlott website and mobile application as usual. When he realized his numbers matched the Jackpot 1 winning combination 09 – 17 – 20 – 33 – 41 – 42, his first reaction was one of shock and excitement.

"I was truly surprised and couldn't believe it was real. I checked the numbers several times before accepting that I was the lucky Jackpot 1 winner," he said.

As part of his commitment to giving back, K.S.H donated VND1.5 billion (approximately US$57,000) to support social welfare programs through the Tam Tai Viet Foundation.

"I was fortunate to receive this prize in Vietnam, so I also want to share my good fortune through meaningful support for people facing difficult circumstances here," he said.

Under Vietnamese regulations, K.S.H is required to pay personal income tax in Bac Ninh Province, where the winning ticket was issued. The tax amounts to more than VND10.2 billion (US$390,000), equivalent to 10% of the prize value exceeding VND20 million, and is deducted before the prize is paid.
