VietNamNet Bridge – The Trade Department of Ha Noi revoked the licences of 106 representative offices of foreign investors in Ha Noi.

Some offices failed to extend their licences, while others were not operating six months after the licence was issued and others ceased operations without notifying authorities.

The department has asked all foreign investors and their representative offices to follow regulations related to tax payments and meet all financial obligations to the Vietnamese Government.

The 106 offices belong mostly to investors from mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, the US, Germany, France and Denmark, according to the department.
