
Hotel staff in Ho Chi Minh City discovered a foreign male guest dead in his room and immediately alerted authorities.
The incident occurred on the morning of February 20 (the fourth day of the Lunar New Year holiday) at a hotel on Quang Trung Street, Hanh Thong Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
According to initial information, hotel employees found a foreign male tourist dead under unusual circumstances inside his room and promptly reported the case to local authorities.
Upon receiving the report, police from Hanh Thong Tay Ward, in coordination with professional units of Ho Chi Minh City Police, quickly arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area around the hotel to serve the investigation.
By shortly after noon the same day, the victim’s body had been transferred to the morgue for forensic procedures. The identity and nationality of the man have not yet been disclosed.
Authorities are extracting data from the hotel’s security cameras and nearby surveillance systems to clarify the victim’s movements prior to his death.
The case remains under investigation.
