This is the idea of Mr. Ninomiya, a Japanese businessman who loves Hanoi and Hoan Kiem Lake. This program has been implemented for over a year.
Ninomiya usually begin his journey from Dinh Tien Hoang Street and then around Hoan Kiem Lake. At first he worked alone. After that his colleagues joined him and now many people who do not know him also pick up rubbish around Hoan Kiem Lake.
Ninomiya’s team currently has about 50 members, including many mothers with their children and students from colleges in Hanoi and the surrounding areas.
Mr. Ninomiya said he would be most happy if he could not collect any rubbish.
