Leeroy Thornhill, a former member of the British electronic group The Prodigy, formed in 1990, will hold his debut concert in HCM City on February 10.

Leeroy Thornhill, a former member of the British electronic group The Prodigy, will perform in HCM City on February 10.

Thornhill spent over 10 years with The Prodigy during their worldwide tours and numerous festival events before he left the band for a solo career. He has produced solo works featuring a mix of hip hop, rock and electro under the name Flightcrank.

The show will start at 9.30pm at Mix & Paint, 93 Ha Noi Highway, in District 2. Tickets are VND150,000 before 10.30pm and VND250,000 after 10.30pm.

American stand-up comedian performs at Game On

The Saigon International Comedy Club will present American stand-up comedian William Childress at Game On on February 22.

Childress began his stand-up career in 2011 in Shanghai and has performed around Asia. He was a finalist in the Hong Kong International Comedy Competition, and finished second runner-up in 2014.

In 2015, he performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and later throughout the US.

The show will also feature comedians Ari Matti Mustonen from Estonia, and three finalists from the Big V Amateur Comedy Competition, launched in the city this month.

The event will begin at 8pm at 115 Ho Tung Mau Street in District 1. Entrance fee is VND200,000.
