According to the website of the foundation, from July 16 to 23, Mr. Clinton will visit several countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including India (July 16-17), Vietnam (July 18), Indonesia (July 19), Papua New Guinea (July 21), and Australia (July 23), where he is expected to attend the 20th International AIDS Conference in Melbourne.

According to the website, the visit confirms the "long-standing commitment by former President Clinton to the Asia-Pacific region as well as the Clinton Foundation to a variety of important issues of the region, including global health, improving access to medicines, climate change and economic development."

In Hanoi, Mr. Clinton will visit an orphanage and examine the implementation of the Clinton Health Initiative program which aims to prevent tuberculosis in HIV-infected children.
