At the finale of the Tiger Champions 2011 for teams from southern Vietnam, held in Can Tho on August 9-10, the Dong Dong FC from HCM City was the champion in both the national and international events. The team defeated the Street Legends from the Netherlands for 3-2.

Dong Dong FC and the seven top teams of the southern region will compete with 24 best teams from the central region in the national finale in the central city of Da Nang on August 20.

The champion will have VND40 million ($2,000) bonus and represent Vietnam at the Tiger Champions 2011 finals in Malaysia in September.

The four top teams of the national finale will participate in the international football festival with four teams from France, Germany, Singapore and Malaysia on August 21.

The three best teams will have VND60 million ($3,000), VND30 million ($1,500) and VND10 million ($500) bonus.
