VietNamNet Bridge – During its tour to France and German to perform “Faces”, Big Toe hiphop dance troupe won four awards.

 
The first two award are the Bboy championship for S-Turtle Hoang Ky Anh and the Poppin championship for TF Star Vu Dinh Phuong at the “Who Iz Who Underground 3” in Paris on March 20.

 

At the Jam Session Battle competition in Berlin on March 22, Bboy Linh 3T and Hoang Ky Anh ranked second and Vu Tung Phuong won the Poppin championship.

 

Dancer Hoang Ky Anh, 15, said that he tried at his best and didn’t prepare for the competition. Ky Anh won the Bboy championship at the Southeast Asia championship 2010 in Malaysia.

 

Vu Tung Phuong has practiced popping since 2004 but this was his first international competition and his first international award.

 

Before the tour to France and Germany, Tung Phuong won the champion of the Floor Killer Tour 2010, held by Big Toe for hiphop dancing fans in Vietnam.

 

After the Vietnam Electronic Sports and Entertainment Association recognized breakdancing as an entertainment, hip hop has developed strongly in Vietnam. Big Toe is trying to host the international qualifier round of R16 hiphop competition in Vietnam.

 

The tour to France and Germany to perform “Faces” dancing play is sponsored by the Goethe Institute and the Elysee Foundation.
