Another incident occurred at 3pm yesterday. A barge carrying three people drifted about five nautical miles from Nghi Son Port, Thanh Hoa province. Nghe An Province Border Security Force sent ships to rescue the barge but they ships had to return because of big waves.
By 3am today, a cargo ship of the Nghi Son Cement Company approached the barge and took two sailors to the shore for emergency. One sailor was too weak so he could not climb to the cargo ship. Another ship was sent to save this sailor.
