Pandaw Angkor has become the first cruise ship to be permitted to sail in northern rivers, and it promises to spark a new development trend in the tourism industry.
The four-star ship, built in HCM City in 2012, is 42.25 metres long and has 16 cabins that can accommodate 32 people.
On its maiden river voyage, it took tourists to Song Da hydroelectric plant, Duong Lam ancient village, and Yen Duc village where they enjoyed traditional foods.
