Ly The Vinh won two matches in the third round and joined Tran Quyet Chien, Duong Anh Vu and Nguyen Quoc Nguyen in the last qualifier on October 15.

Vinh will play Kahofer Amim of Austria and Nady Riad of Egypt in Group I.

Chien will face Ahmet Bayatli and Mehmet Goren of the hosts in Group C.

Nguyen will meet Kiraz Tolgahan of Turkey and Park kwang-yeon of South Korea in Group F.

Vu will play Cenet Lutfi of the hosts and Jean Reverchon of France in Group L.
