Four Vietnamese migrant workers died due to gas asphyxiation in Magas- the capital town of the Republic of Ingushetia in Russia, local newspaper reported on April 21.

The incident happened when the workers went to sleep and forgot to shut off the gas stove.

The victims include Nguyen Van Chien (43 years old), Nguyen Van Hieu (21 years old) and Nguyen Hong Thai (45 years old) from Quang Binh province.

One from central Nghe An province has not yet identified.

Currently, victims’ family members are raising money to bring the bodies back to their homeland.
