VietNamNet Bridge – The National Young Golf Championships 2011 closed on August 7, with six championships for golfers of all age groups and the top four players are selected for the finale of Faldo Series Asia in China.

The tournament attracted 52 players, competing in six groups of age like the Faldo Series Asia tournament: men’s and women’s U-21, U-16, U-12 categories.

The event finished after two days, with the championship for men’s and women’s U-12 went to Nguyen Hung Dung and Tran Chieu Duong. Truong Chi Quan and Le Tram An won the U-16 championship. Do Le Gia Dat and Ngo Bao Nghi were the champions of the U-21 group.

The organizing board chose four golf players for the finals of Faldo Series Asia in March 2012 in China, including: Truong Chi Quan from Dong Nai province, Do Le Gia Dat and Dao Phuc Hung from Hanoi and Ngo Bao Nghi from Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

This is the fourth tournament of its kind, held by the Vietnam Golf Association at the Ocean Dunes Golf Course in Phan Thiet city.
