VietNamNet Bridge - FPT Software is Vietnam's first business in the list of the top software outsourcing service providers in the world, recently published by the International Association of Outsourcing Providers (IAOP).

This is the 9th year that IAOP released the list and this is the first time a Vietnamese firm was named in the list.

In 2012, IAOP named FPT Software on a list of the top 10 outsourcing service providers in Japan and one of the 10 leading companies in Southeast Asia.

To rank the top 100 outsourcing services providers in the world, IAOP used four criteria including size and growth, customer satisfaction, organizational capacity and management capabilities.

After 15 years of development, FPT Software currently has over 5,000 employees. It earned $100 million of revenue last year.

In 2014, FPT Software is expected to recruit 2,500 new employees and obtain revenue growth of over 30 percent compared with 2013. It also aims to have revenue of $200 million and 10,000 employees in 2016.   

FPT Software now has 250 customers worldwide, including nearly 40 customers in the Fortune 500, which operate in the fields of manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, financial services and satellite TV.
