According to its announcement, FPT Play has acquired the full rights to air and promote Premier League matches in Vietnam for six seasons - from midway through the 2025/26 season until the end of the 2030/31 season.

The deal ensures that Vietnamese audiences will remain in sync with the global fan base of 1.87 billion viewers, enjoying uninterrupted access to thousands of top-tier football matches.

Beginning in the 2025/26 season, FPT Play will air nearly 200 matches, followed by more than 1,900 matches across the next five full seasons. All matches will be available across multiple platforms with professional Vietnamese-language commentary, offering fans the flexibility to watch anytime, anywhere.

Many of the matches will be produced in 4K ultra-high definition, delivering an immersive, lifelike viewing experience.

This acquisition marks a strategic leap in FPT Play’s efforts to elevate its sports content offerings and position itself as a premier destination for football enthusiasts in Vietnam.

Beyond live broadcasts, FPT Play plans to expand its sports ecosystem with companion programming such as tactical analysis, talk shows, and behind-the-scenes content - bringing Vietnamese fans closer to the most captivating football league on the planet.
