Telco gets go-ahead for pay-TV
VietNamNet Bridge – The Ministry of Information and Communication on Wednesday issued a licence to FPT Telecoms to provide a paid TV service in Viet Nam, despite strong opposition from the Viet Nam Pay Television Association.
Lack of IPv4 hampers broadband development
VietNamNet Bridge – CMC Telecoms and FPT Telecoms have complained about the lack of available IPv4 addresses, so they cannot attract new subscribers, saying that the reserved addresses do not relate to current growth and the broadband market share.
