VietNamNet Bridge – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved the reception of a EUR20 million loan provided by the French Development Agency (AFD) for the Support Programme to Respond to Climate Change (SP-RCC) in Vietnam. 
The PM asked the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to closely coordinate with relevant agencies to implement the programme effectively and on schedule. 

Vietnam is one of the five countries forecast to be hardest hit by climate change. In case sea level rises by one metre, nearly 5 percent of land, 11 percent of population and 7 percent of agricultural land of Vietnam will be affected.
