VietNamNet Bridge – This year’s Francophonie Film Festival will be held in Hanoi, HCMC, Hue and Vinh from Thursday until April 17 presenting some fabulous French-language movies from all over the globe.
The dazzling dozen are Deux filles d’Egypte (Egypt), L’enfant d’en haut (Switzerland), Africa paradis (Benin), La 5ème corde (Morocco), Aujourd’hui (Tey) (Senegal), Tomboy, Le chat du Rabbin and L’homme qui voulait vivre sa vie (France), Dans le ventre du Moulin and Mon village au Nunavik (Canada), La Fée (Belgium), and Passion (Vietnam).
The festival will take place from Friday until March 29 at L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien St., Hanoi and at Cinémathèque, 22A Hai Ba Trung St., Hanoi. It kicks off in HCMC on Thursday and finishes up on April 6 at Idecaf, 31 Thai Van Lung St., Dist. 1 Vinh City starts from Friday until March 31 at Francophonie Center, 36 Nguyen Duc Canh St., and finally movies will be shown from March 19-April 17 at 1 Le Hong Phong St., Hue City.
