Idecaf will host a piano-flute concert by Clement Dufour and Tristan Pfaff at HCMC Conservatory of Music at 8 p.m. on September 20.

The show will feature ‘Debussy’ including Syrinx (Flute solo), In the boat, The Little Shepherd, Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, Arabesque (Piano solo) and ‘Bizet/Borne’ including Fantasie Brillante from Carmen.
Pfaff began his studies at the Conservatoire National de Region de Nantes before joining the class of Denis Pascal at the CNR of Rueil-Malmaison. In 2000 he was admitted to the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique in Paris, where he won the 2003 prize in piano with honors and the Diploma of Higher Education in piano and chamber music with fine distinction. Tristan Pfaff has won numerous international competitions and has performed in Europe and Asia.
Dufour had a real passion for the flute from an early age and from 1995 until 2003 he studied it at the Regional Music Academy of Rueil-Malmaison, in the class of Pascale Feuvrier and Philippe Pierlot and was awarded a Prize of Excellence.
He entered the National Music and Dance Academy of Lyon in the class of Philippe Bernold and Emmanuelle Reville and also took part in a summer semester class conducted by Benoit Fromanger in the “Hanns Eisler” Hochschule in Berlin.
He has won many awards and performs worldwide.
Tickets are available at the music conservatory, 112 Nguyen Du Street in District 1 priced at VND200,000 and VND100,000. Students are discounted 50%.
