VietNamNet Bridge - Kad Achouri, a famous French rapper and jazz artist, will have only one show at the L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien, Hanoi on November 15.
Achouri will sing with music from Adalberto de Jesus Morgado Alves (percussion), Kim Marray (guitar) and Lan Toothill (bass). Piano, bandoneon and string instruments will also feature in the performance.

Achouri, of Algerian-Spanish ancestry, was born in 1969. He was self-taught on the piano and began his career playing the piano in London bars. He later began composing and gained popularity with his first song, Latina Me, in 2000.
 
After the release of his first album, Liberte, in 2002, he was named young French talent of the year by the French phonographic society Adami, playlisted by the national radio station France Inter and chosen to perform at that year's Cannes Festival. He was nominated Young Talent of Midem – International Music Fair at Cannes in 2002.

Kad has had three albums, the latest of which, a pop and jazzy album, is called Lettre a Marianne in which he draws inspiration from his childhood, his roots, his family and his travels. He sings with heartfelt sincerity about love, life and society.

World music in its classic definition is a general categorical term for global music, such as the traditional music or folk music of a culture that is created and played by indigenous musicians and is closely related to the music of the regions of their origin. In Viet Nam, this type of music is gaining popularity.
