The quartet, including violinists Vanessa Szigeti and Yun Peng Zhao, violoncellist and cellist Pierre Morlet, and alto Frank Chevalier, will offer a one-night premiere performance at the L'Espace, at 24 Trang Tien Street.

Founded by graduates of the Paris and Lyon Conservatories, the quartet won the Contemporary Music Prize at the London String Quartet Competition in 2000.

They have graced the stages of many of the major concert venues and music festivals across Europe, including Cite de la Musique, Berlin Philharmonie, Musica Strasbourg, Ars Musica Brussels, Musica Nova Helsinki, as well as in Japan, the US, Central and South America, China and Korea.

Earlier, Vietnamese audiences had the chance to enjoy melodies played by the quartet when they made their debut here in 2008.

Ticket for the show on September 22, costs VND100,000 and are available at the L'Espace.
