VietNamNet Bridge – A lot of fuel saving devices have been launched into the market, especially after the petrol price began increasing continuously. Especially, fuel-saving tablets have also been marketed.

In fact, the products have been available on the market for a long time, but the products have never been so diversified as nowadays.

Tung, who lives in district 1 of HCM City, felt satisfactory with the 150 cc motorbike he purchased. However, he felt worried when he was told that the scooter would “gobble up” much fuel. After consulting with some friends, Tung decided to buy a disc which allows to reduce the fuel consumption.

Tung said the disc has helped him save up to 20 percent of fuel. Sometimes he can decelerate, but the rear wheel still turns round thanks to the smart disc.

When driving on flat roads or going downhill, the motorbike still can run even though the machine nearly does not work and petrol is not pumped into the engine. This allows to reduce the fuel consumption.

However, motorbike drivers have been warned that they need to have good brakes, because when going downhill, the motorbike would be able to stop thanks to the brakes, not to the resistance force of the engine.

The disc is only compatible to motorbikes, not to scooters, which is sold at 350,000 dong.

Besides the disc, motorbike drivers have also been interested in the fuel saving magnet invented by Ngo Thoi De, a man in district 3. The magnet allows saving up to 25 percent of fuel and helps the machines run very smoothly.

The device includes two blocks of powerful magnets which will purify all the metal impurities in petrol and rearrange the order of the petrol iron before entering the carburetor. This allows the fuel to be burnt entirely. With the magnets, the gas choking – the problem of many vehicles will also be settled

Tien Dat, a singer, who has been using the magnet for the last six months for his Yamaha Mio Ultimo, said he feels satisfactory with the device. “You can accelerate very easily,” he said.

Dat also said that the magnet really allows saving fuel. It takes only 40,000 dong worth of petrol to travel a long distance of 130 kilometers from HCM City to Vung Tau City.

Meanwhile, according to Nguyen Ngoc Buu in Tan Phu district, after his Future II was installed with the magnet, he can travel 50 kilometers with just one liter of petrol, five kilometers longer than previously.

De said on VnExpress that he still has not given the name to the device which is still under experiment. He said that after he registers the trademarks and gets the patent, the price of every fuel saving device would be no more than 2 million dong.

Also according to De, the device fits to all kinds of vehicles, including cars. De is now awaiting the result of the experiments with Toyota Innova.

Besides the two special products, motorbike players have also heard about some other solutions, including the carburetor, or the special spark plug which allows to ignite well.

The manufacturer of Centa brand carburetor has committed the carburetor would allow Dream and Wave brand motorbikes to consume only one liter of petrol for every 65 kilometers. Meanwhile, Iridium spark plug of NGK is selling at 180,000 dong.

Fuel saving tablets have also been launched into the market. They have been advertised as allowing to save 15-30 percent of fuel. The tablets have been put directly into the petrol tank of cars or motorbikes.

However, in the latest news, the state management agencies have advised people not to use fuel saving tablets or fluids to prevent explosions and fires.
