The Rhapsody Philharmonic will perform selections from famous film scores including “Skyfall”, “I Have a Dream”, “My Heart Will Go On”, and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.”

The event’s organisers will also conduct a charity auction of autographed CDs and handcrafted dolls as part of their fundraising efforts.

Fifty young artists are expected to participate in the concert, including Concour 2010 runner-up Dao Hong Nhung, Concour Autumn 2007 and Indonesia International Music Competition winner Nguyen Thien Minh, and leading Vietnamese DJ Nguyen Ham Long.

The Rhapsody Philharmonic was founded on September 29, 2010, by drummer Nguyen Hung Cuong and his friend Luu Quang Minh. Hung said it currently comprises a rotating roster of 70 members to continue its significant charitable activities.

The “I Dreamed a Dream” series already performed its first two street concerts in Hanoi on April 13 and 20.
