The Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch display, Exynos 2500 chip, 3x telephoto camera and 4,900mAh battery, and goes on sale in Vietnam from August 28.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S26 FE on August 27, featuring a 6.7-inch display, a triple-camera system and Android 17. The device uses a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and peak brightness of 1,900 nits. It measures 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4mm and weighs 193 grams.

The camera system includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, along with a 12MP front-facing camera. The phone also supports digital zoom of up to 30x.

Several software features focus on photography and image editing. My FanCam can track subjects and automatically adjust the frame while recording. Super Steady works with Horizontal Lock to keep the horizon more stable in videos. Photo Assist, meanwhile, allows users to edit images using natural-language commands.

Samsung has also equipped the phone with a range of AI features, including Now Brief, Now Nudge and Circle to Search. Now Brief can display personalized information cards, while Now Nudge provides suggestions based on selected apps and third-party notifications. Circle to Search supports searches for multiple objects within the same image.

The Galaxy S26 FE is powered by the Exynos 2500 chip, manufactured on a 3nm process, and comes with a 4,900mAh battery, 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. According to Samsung’s specifications, the battery can reach 65% in around 30 minutes using a 45W charger, although the charger is sold separately.

The device runs Android 17 with One UI 9 and supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. It carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Samsung promises up to seven operating system upgrades and seven years of security updates for the device.

In Vietnam, the Galaxy S26 FE comes in three colors: Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio. The version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at VND18.99 million (around $720), while the 256GB version costs VND21.99 million ($835). Sales begin on August 28.

At this price point, the Galaxy S26 FE enters the upper-midrange smartphone segment, where buyers have plenty of options across both Android and iOS. The iPhone 17e currently starts at VND17.999 million ($685) for the 256GB version, roughly VND1 million ($38) less. It features a 6.1-inch display, an A19 chip and a 48MP Fusion camera, but lacks the dedicated telephoto camera found on the Galaxy S26 FE. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T Pro has a listed price of VND21.99 million ($835) for the version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
