More than a routine specification upgrade, the Galaxy S26 is positioned as a strategic shift in which AI is embedded from the hardware foundation, operating seamlessly across the operating system and most clearly expressed through Privacy Display - a pioneering active anti-peep technology on mobile devices.

Privacy Display: Pioneering active anti-peep protection on mobile

In an era where smartphones serve as digital wallets, data vaults and mobile offices, the risk of information exposure in public spaces is real. From cafes and airports to elevators, a single glance can reveal private messages, bank balances or work documents.

The Galaxy S26 is the first smartphone to bring Privacy Display to mobile with a fundamentally different approach. Instead of using a darkening screen protector that compromises display quality, Samsung developed a solution that controls individual pixels. The system blurs wide-angle light-emitting pixels and concentrates light directly forward, limiting viewing angles from the four surrounding sides.

As a result, content remains sharp for the user looking straight at the screen but becomes difficult to observe for those sitting beside or behind. This is no longer a passive accessory but an active security mechanism integrated at the display hardware level.

The breakthrough of Privacy Display lies in its contextual customization. Users can select specific apps such as social media or banking to activate anti-peep mode. The system automatically turns on when the designated app is opened and switches off when changing tasks. When entering a PIN or password, a dedicated protection mode can be triggered. A partial privacy mode also allows sensitive notifications such as account balances or private messages to be hidden without affecting the entire screen.

Samsung demonstrates that security is no longer an optional add-on but a new standard of the AI smartphone experience.

Galaxy AI Phone integrated: Native, seamless, uninterrupted

The message “Galaxy AI Phone integrated to set the standard for experience” is reflected in how the Galaxy S26 operates artificial intelligence. Rather than existing as isolated applications, Galaxy AI is deeply embedded into the system, functioning seamlessly without additional downloads or subscription fees.

Galaxy S26 Ultra is the most premium model in this year’s Galaxy S26 trio.

AI can understand conversation context and suggest replies directly on the keyboard, recommend suitable photo albums when sharing images, remember flight details and remind users of departure times, or warn about expiring vouchers. The Now Bar and Now Brief surfaces display timely, context-aware information, helping users reduce steps and make quicker decisions.

All personal data is protected by the Samsung Knox platform and the Knox Vault chip, ensuring encryption and on-device storage. Users retain control over whether AI can access personal context, while financial, health and identity data are not stored in the cloud by default.

AI on the Galaxy S26 is therefore not only intelligent but also private and trustworthy, aligned with the definition of an integrated Galaxy AI Phone.

Hardware designed for AI: The foundation of stability and trust

To enable AI to run directly on-device, the Galaxy S26 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor built on a 3nm process and customized specifically for Galaxy devices. An upgraded vapor chamber cooling system increases heat dissipation capacity by 28%, maintaining stable performance when handling multiple AI tasks, high-graphics gaming or video editing.

Samsung believes AI can only be truly seamless when hardware is powerful enough to process tasks locally without relying on the cloud. The “hardware-driven AI” philosophy is evident as the chipset, cooling system and display are all engineered to support AI performance.

The 10-bit mDNIe display with 1.07 billion color gradations, combined with AI-integrated ProScaler technology, delivers highly realistic visuals. Even when Privacy Display is activated, users viewing head-on still experience sharpness and color accuracy.

Setting a new standard for the AI smartphone experience

The Galaxy S26 continues to upgrade its camera with impressive night video capabilities, Space Zoom 100x and a Horizontal Lock feature that stabilizes frames while moving. AI Camera Selfie optimizes backlighting, while command-based editing tools enable intuitive content creation.

However, the point Samsung emphasizes goes beyond camera or performance alone. The combination of active anti-peep Privacy Display, seamlessly integrated Galaxy AI and a robust hardware foundation forms the new benchmark.

With the Galaxy S26, Samsung is not merely introducing another flagship but redefining the AI smartphone. When display security is integrated at the pixel level, when AI operates natively on-device and when users retain full control over personal data, the mobile experience reaches a new standard.

“Galaxy AI Phone integrated to set the standard for experience” is no longer a slogan but a declaration for an era in which artificial intelligence is intelligent, private and trustworthy.

Galaxy S26 Ultra priced up to VND52 million in Vietnam

Following the global launch event on February 26, Samsung has officially announced pricing for the Galaxy S26 series in the Vietnamese market, starting from VND25.99 million (approximately US$1,020).

This year, Samsung’s flagship lineup continues with three main versions: Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra. Notably, the highest-end Galaxy S26 Ultra with 1TB of storage is priced at nearly VND52 million (US$2,040), making it one of the most expensive smartphones currently available.

In terms of color options, alongside traditional tones such as Classic Black and Classic White, users can also choose Cobalt Purple and Sky Blue. On Samsung.com’s online channel, two exclusive colors are available: Rose Gold and Shadow Silver.

From February 26 to March 10, customers who pre-order will receive what Samsung describes as its largest promotional package of the year. Most notable is the “double storage” program, with a trade-in value of up to VND6 million (approximately US$235). For example, customers ordering the 256GB version can be upgraded to the 512GB model at no additional cost.

In addition, Samsung is offering zero percent interest installment plans for up to 18 months and discounts of 10 to 30 percent when purchasing ecosystem devices such as the new Galaxy Watch or Buds4 alongside the phone.

Despite its premium price, the Galaxy S26 Ultra impresses with what Samsung describes as the thinnest and lightest design in the history of the Ultra line. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, with NPU performance increased by 39 percent to handle AI tasks. Notably, it is the world’s first smartphone equipped with Privacy Display technology, enabling active anti-spy protection at the pixel level to safeguard user privacy in public spaces.

According to plan, the Galaxy S26 series will begin reaching Vietnamese customers from March 6.
