The shooting game was built on the basis of the Vietnam’s war against US imperialism. The name ‘300475’ reminds people of liberation/reunification day, when the war ended in Vietnam.

After nearly one year since the announcement of crowdfunding for the game 300475, Hiker Games, a Vietnamese owned studio, officially released the teaser of the project on February 22 on Hiker Games Studio's YouTube channel.

Hiker Games was established in 2009 and is well known as one of the studios pioneering the game industry in Vietnam.

In 2011, Hiker Games became the first studio to produce an offline shooting game inspired by Vietnam’s history. It was also the first studio to develop MMO RTS (Massively multiplayer online real-time strategy) game on personal computers in Vietnam.

Hiker Games Studio is also the first game producer to put its game, Toy Odyssey, on all the three leading distribution platforms of the world, namely Steam, XBOX and PS4. It is also the producer of a series of mobile games praised by the gamer community. Caravan War is an example.

300475 is developed with an inspiration from the April 30, 1975 event, the time of reunification of the two northern and southern regions of the country.

Prior to that, Hiker Games Studio was well known for the successful development of 7554 inspired by Dien Bien Phu victory.

Under the plan, the crowdfunding for 300475 will last one year, commencing from May 2021. The team of developers hopes that it can raise funds of VND20 billion to implement the project.

After 10 months of crowdfunding, the project mobilized VND871 million, still far below the expectation. However, Hiker Games still hopes that the project will reach the goal set for it.

“We know that the teaser video has important significance which decides the success of the crowdfunding. We are working very seriously on it,” a representative of the studio said.

He said that with the limited time, there are still some shortcomings in the video, but it will be good enough to prove the feasibility of the project to those who still doubt the project.

According to Hiker Games, 300475 will be developed within three years and the studio will need about 50 people. It needs VND20 billion to develop the game.
