NAO, the super-smart humanoid robot, has been flown into the city to be the big star at the Metalex-Nepcon Vietnam and the fifth exhibition on supporting industries in HCMC’s Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC).

From today until Saturday Vietnamese industrialists will meet the main attraction from Europe who is already a worldwide phenomenon.

NAO has been designed and developed to perform human motions. The smart embedded systems and tactile sensor will blow your mind and open the whole new perspective of robot development in Vietnam.

Vietnamese industrialists will be amazed by the state of the art intelligence embodied in NAO’s performance and interactions such as facial and gesture recognition abilities and choreographed movements. NAO will perform three times a day throughout the show days (at 12.00, 13.30 and 16.00hrs).

On Tuesday, organizers launched NAO-Motor Bike Caravan Roadshow to the industrial zone, a part of a promotional activity to promote and invite manufacturers in the industrial zones to visit the show.

The program included a NAO performance for reporters, presenting Moon Cake as special gifts to the head of 4 IZs to spread goodwill for officers of IZs and launched Motor Bike Caravan Roadshow to Industrial Zones.

The roadshow ran through the city, to Tan Thuan export processing zones, Linh Trung 1 and 2 Export Processing zones, Saigon High Tech Park and Song Than industrial zones, in order to raise awareness in the manufacturing and supporting industries community; especially the parts-producing sector on three powerful exhibitions that are joining forces to bring exceptional opportunities.
