From neighboring Danang City, it takes tourists around 30 minutes to travel to Hoi An by motorbike or bus.
The town looks stunning thanks to its long road, narrow alleys with yellow walls, ancient houses with moss-covered roofs, and colorful bougainvillea flowers.
Walking along the peaceful roads of the old town, tourists can find small and cozy shops where they can have drinks, read books and admire unique fashion and souvenir products.
Especially, the World Heritage-listed town is well known for its colorful lanterns. Tourists can indulge in a romantic atmosphere at night when lanterns of different shapes and colors are lit up.
Visitors may find their visits to the town incomplete without spending some time savoring local specialties such as hen xuc banh trang (sautéed mussels served with crisp broiled rice pancakes), banh dap (crisp broiled rice pancakes), tofu, douhua and xi ma (a traditional sweet soup).
