VietNamNet Bridge – German Jazz band Tharichens Tentett impressed Vietnamese audience with their music and performance style on November 26, at the opening show of the European Music Festival.

This is the first time Tharichens Tentett coming to Vietnam. The band had only one show at the Hanoi Opera House. The show attracted many Jazz fans, including many foreigners in Hanoi.

The band brought to the audience its special music, which combines jazz, pop, swing and chamber music.

The band includes ten members.

The most famous member is singer Michael Schiefel. “Perhaps Germany will not have the second singer like Michael Schiefel,” German magazine FAZ wrote about Schiefel.

The band performed two German songs.

Michael Schiefel was the most outstanding artist in the show.

Pianist Nicolai Tharichen is also an outstanding member. He is the band leader, conductor and a song writer.
