The young and funky German band, Von Wegen Lisbeth, will give free perfromances in Hanoi, Da Nang, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City from November 4-13.

The Goethe-Institut Hanoi in co-operation with the Goethe-Institute, Thailand wil organize concerts at the Youth Theater in Hanoi on November 4, Danang University of Foreign Languages on November 9, Hue University of Pedagogy on November 10 and Ben Thanh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City on November 13.

The shows come along with interactive workshops and talks in which German learners from the Goethe-Institut, PASCH partner schools and universities will get the chance to meet and exchange with the musicians.

Five members of the band share their passion for musical experiments since school time. Their music career started with a youtube-video.

Though daftly making fun of the social networks’ mechanisms, the cheerful song “Sushi” spread across internet.

After publishing their EP “Und plötzlich der Lachs“ in 2014, they began the first concert tour through Germany.

SGGP
