The GBA Oktoberfest will take place in Hanoi between September 26 and 28, Danang on October 4, and HCM City from October 10 to 12. Attendees can expect to enjoy a wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages and imported German beers, brewed in the traditional Bavarian style.

This annual event has been held under the patronage of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in HCM City since 1992. Last year, the festival attracted a record-breaking 10,500 attendees and 20,000 liters of beer, making it the largest beer festival in Southeast Asia.

The GBA Oktoberfest is organized by the German Business Association (GBA), the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam), and JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi.

Peter Kompalla, AHK Vietnam chief representative, said, “The GBA Oktoberfest will provide a perfect platform to forge new friendships and partnerships.”

Minh Nguyen, vice chairwoman of GBA, stated the festival is part of efforts held to celebrate the growing strategic partnership between Vietnam and Germany. The two countries will mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2025.
