The festival will take place from August 26 tillSeptember 2 (10am-2pm) at Du Dome square in the French Village of Ba Na Hills.
The festival will offer free German draught beer of the brands Gauden and Red Rock, reminiscent of the biggest beer festival in the world, Oktoberfest, which is organized in Munich every year.
Visitors can also enjoy free draught beer at other places, including Kavkaz Restaurant, Beer Garden Restaurant, and the Buffet Club.
B’estival is inspired by the harvest season in rural Europe, where wheat, a key ingredient to beer, is harvested in August.
To prepare for the festival, the Du Dome square, nestled amongst buildings sporting European architectural styles, has been decorated like a farm with a large wheat field.
The resort has also recreated scenes of festivity and featured live music. Participants can also play games and shop at booths in the square. The week-long event is expected to attract tens of thousands of participants.
B’estival is among various events in the series of festivals held in Ba Na Hills so far this year, such as the spring flower festival, summer festival, and wine festival. The festival is expected to increase the appeal of Danang, which is already a top destination in Vietnam.
Ba Na Hills, developed by Sun Group, has been named amongst the top tourist destinations of Vietnam in 2015 and 2016 by the Vietnam Tourism Association and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
