VietNamNet Bridge – Bernhard Epstein from the Music Academy of Stuttgart will conduct a concert at Hanoi Opera House at 8 p.m. on September 24. The event is in response to an invitation of the DAAD and the Goethe Institute and in cooperation with the Vietnam National Academy of Music.

After the successful performance of pieces such as Richard Wagner’s “The Flying Dutchman” in March, together with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Hanoi, the German will this time present works of Johannes Brahms and Ludwig van Beethoven.
Studying piano, ensemble conducting and conducting at music academies in Stuttgart, Hanover and Berlin, Epstein graduated with honors. As a pianist and conductor, he has been awarded several prizes and scholarships. He has also conducted numerous contemporary musical theatre productions and premieres.
The Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra has already made a name for itself on the international stage with the ensemble recently performing in Japan, Thailand, Laos and Russia.
Tickets are priced at VND350,000 and VND500,000 and are available at the Goethe Institute at 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, at the Vietnam National Academy of Music at 77 Hao Nam Street and the Opera House at 1 Trang Tien Street.
