Giang Quoc Co speaks at the press meeting in Ho Chi Minh City on June 11

Giang Quoc Co and his younger brother Giang Quoc Nghiep who have enjoyed a warmly welcome back home following their return from Britain's Got Talent 2018 shared their health problems at a press meeting in Ho Chi Minh City on June 11.

According to Quoc Nghiep, he went for a health check-up right after returning home and doctors said that he had several health problems including cervical spine spondylolysis, spinal disc herniation and cracks in his right arm bone.

"I had a serious accident while practising right before the final night of Britain's Got Talent 2018," Quoc Nghiep said. "I fell off from my brother's head and banged my head, shoulder and arm. It was painful but I tried my best to perform in the final night."

The artist said that he and his brother needed treatment and rest now.

Quoc Co also said that he could not tell exactly when they would be able to do the live show because his younger brother needs time to recover.

"We always want to get on the stage and introduce Vietnamese circus through our performance," he said. "We will prepare well for our future shows. But right now we want to send our apologies to the live show team including director Pham Hoang Nam, singers Dam Vinh Hung, Ho Ngoc Ha and musician Tran Manh Tuan."

The two brothers said that they have no intention of leaving circus as some rumours said and are planning to make a film on their life and work next year.

The Giang brothers finished fifth out of 11 finalists on the Britain's Got Talent 2018 TV show.
