Giang Hong Ngoc from Ho Chi Minh City won the Vietnamese X-Factor Television show singing contest which ended in Ho Chi Minh City on October 19.

Giang Hong Ngoc triumphed over her competitors, including the –Plus and the F Band, with a total of 41.82 percent of the votes.

Ngoc steals audiences’ hearts for her powerful and sweet voice, performing skills, and good looks.

The winner received a cash prize of VND500 million and valuable valuable rewards.

Aired on VTV3 chancel in March, the contest was divided into four categories: males between 16 and 25 years old, females between 16 and 25 years old, male and females above 25 years old, and bands.

Contestants competed in five stages including producer's audition, judges' audition, boot camp, judge’s house and live shows.

The panel of judges included singer Dam Vinh Hung, Ho Ngoc Ha, Ho Quynh Huong and musician Duong Khac Linh. Judges and viewers will vote to decide whom goes on to the next levels.
