The 2016 Vietnam-Korea Giant Lantern Festival opened on December 3 at the Lepare Trade Centre in the Gaduma City Urban Area.

The event features 40 giant lanterns that symbolize the three dimensions of Vietnamese and Korean culture – Peace, Love and Hope.

The festival spans an area of 50,000 square meters.

During the event, K-pop music concerts, traditional musical instrument performances and cover dancing events and games take place.

In addition, roughly 200 exhibition booths offer visitors food, entertainment and shopping opportunities.
