A giant portrait depicting late Vietnamese President Ho Chi Minh made of thousands of lotuses was recognized as the world’s largest of its kind by the World Records Union (Worldkings) on May 16.
The art work is displaying at Dai Tue Pagoda, Nam Dan district in the central province of Nghe An from May 17-20.
The portrait measuring 4 x 6 meters was created from 10,000 white and pink lotuses.
The event is part of the activities to commemorate the president’s 125th birthday (May 19).
The painting was nominated as the biggest lotus-made picture in the world by the Vietnam Book of Records (VietKings) in April.
