VietNamNet Bridge - The Hue Festival 2016 Organizing Committee said that during the festival this year, scheduled from April 29 to May 4, a giant puppet with the height of 7 meters will perform on the road.

With their first appearance at the Hue Festival 2016, the street art troupe L'Homme Debout of France will perform the play "The stars shine at night" which evokes images of deep journeys of the soul that every person will experience in life, containing conflict, fleeing, wandering and even collapse.

"The stars shine at night" will use a giant puppet named "Liedo" of 7 meters high. The journey of the puppet will be combined with music, lights and fireworks.

The play will be performed by a team of professional artists, plus the participation of about 40 locals throughout the journey.

It is expected that the puppet "Liedo" will walk on the streets of Hue in two performances: the first at 4pm on April 30 at Trinh Cong Son Park, Tran Hung Dao Road and the second performance at 7pm on May 2 at Ham Nghi Yard, Hue City.

L'Homme Debout art troupe, led by artist Benoit Mousserion, was founded in September 2011, based in Poitiers, France.
