The cake was created by FUKU cuisine joint stock company within the framework of the 10th anniversary of Miresto Culinary System which owns many famous restaurant chains in Vietnam
The piece of work is made up of 5 storeys, with each one consisting of 5,400 small pieces of sushi with 10 flavours.
It was made using 170kg of ingredients, including 60kg of Japanese rice, along with nearly 70kg of seafood such as salmon, tuna, and eel. All ingredients used in the cake were shipped quickly via air from Japan to Vietnam in just 24 hours.
A total of 30 chefs made the cake over the course of 90 minutes, with the ultimate aim of serving over 1,000 diners.
