Luxurious hotel in Hanoi

This is a five-star hotel, which is part of the Grand Plaza shopping mall-hotel complex, investment by Charmvit, a Korean group.

This is a two-tower building of 28 stories and 2 basements, totaling 607 rooms on 168,000sq.m. The building was built at the cost of $160 million.

The hotel is special because it is decorated with pure gold. This is the first and only hotel in Vietnam inlaid with gold sheets imported from China.

The hotel’s corridors, drawing-room and even elevators are decorated with gold.

Gold-inlaid apartments

A gold-inlaid apartment project named D’Palais de Louis has just been introduced in Cau Giay district, Hanoi. The price for a gold-inlaid apartment is up to $1.2 million. This project has been introduced in Hanoi, at the time the real estate market is very cold.

Each apartment is from 133.2 to 260.8 square meters. At the price of VND100 million ($5,000) per one square meter, the price ranges from VND13 to 26 billion ($600,000 to $1.2 million) for an apartment. There are up to 242 apartments of this type.

Estate experts doubted of the success of this project because the real estate market in Vietnam is very cold now. However, the investor says that many overseas Vietnamese have registered to buy the luxurious apartments.

Family temple laminated with 60 taels of gold

A businessman named Nguyen Duc Luong, who is President and CEO of Truong Linh Housing Development Investment JS Company, used 60 taels of gold ($125,000) to decorate his family temple in the northern city of Hai Duong.

This wood house is built inside a garden of 5,000sq.m. All patterns inside the house are inlaid with gold.
