VietNamNet Bridge - The five-star Grand Plaza Hotel is part of the Grand Plaza shopping mall-hotel complex, investment by Charmvit, a Korean group.

This is a two-tower building of 28 stories and 2 basements, totaling 607 rooms on 168,000sq.m. The building was built at the cost of $160 million.

The hotel is special because it is decorated with pure gold. This is the first and only hotel in Vietnam inlaid with gold sheets imported from China.

The hotel’s corridors, drawing-room and even elevators are decorated with gold.
